Written as I cruised on an afternoon drive on Sydney’s Northern Beaches as summer moved to winter, Autumn Breeze is the 2nd single off our forthcoming album “Ghosthound.” Set against the backdrop of a jangly pop single, Autumn Breeze swerves into uncomfortable “love gone wrong” territory; doubts, remorse and hope swirl into shining glam rock guitars with catchy hooks and vocal harmonies. On guitars, I join with the amazing Marty Willson-Piper in the psychedelic funhouse. The Arktik Lake engine room is powered by Nigel Macara on drums with DC on bass, both from the present line-up of the legendary Tamam Shud. Olivia Willson-Piper plays violin and also adds her beautiful voice.

Our music video expands the psychedelic vibe: created by the legendary Turk Lees with his crazy AI set up adding to the weirdness, we drop in and drop out with a band of 60's flower children roaming the English countryside - enjoying the fruits and bounties of nature (well, mushrooms in particular)!

Recorded in Midnight Oil’s "Oceanic" studio in Sydney, this is our tribute to the best of power pop singles. We hope you like it.

The debut LP ‘GHOSTHOUND’ will be released mid 2024 and on Vinyl.
